Football season is a favorite at our house not just because of the game but because of the food!  Tailgate Snacks are required whether we are watching from home or at the stadium and fruit salsa is a favorite.

I am married to a HUGE sports fan and one of his favorites is college football. In fact, our first date was to a college football game where he very patiently explained to me everything that was happening on the field and I pretended to be interested! It wasn’t until after we were married that he discovered that my favorite thing about sports was the food.

Whether we are watching a game in person, at the stadium, or in front of the television, in our home, it’s all about the snacks and food for me.  I love a good tailgate!  Now that it is just the two of us at home and this season we will be watching all the games from home the food is more important than ever.
